This was really fun and surprisingly challenging for being Pong. The only problem is... the game is basically freezing up and using a shitload of memory for no reason as soon as I won? I am confused.

Also the centaur girl is overpowered.

CyberScherzo responds:

Excessive memory use on victory seems to have something to do with the animated victory scene. The new update I just uploaded has an attempt to fix it, and a workaround (the ability to turn off the animation) which should make that scene view-able either way.

It's unfinished for sure, but it seems like it could get better. After you let the ball loose, you have zero control over what happens. Being able to let go of more than one at a time would help that a lot. Also being able to start over quickly would be nice (because getting the maximum possible score is impossible if the first turn doesn't go well.) Other than that though, there needs to be SOMETHING you can do while the ball is falling. Something that I think would work well is being able to shake the board, as in an actual arcade. They did something like this in the Pokemon Pinball games, I think it would fit here. It's still really random, but it at least gives you some sort of control aside from the initial drop.

Also something that would be nice is a randomized board, the pegs being in the same place every single time gets stale really quickly. If it's going to be so random and out of your control, then why is the board exactly the same every time?

Obviously this game isn't finished, so I hope this stuff can get fixed. I'm interested in the upgrade shop thing? That could be really interesting if you use points to get better balls or something. (Maybe instead of randomized boards, you unlock better boards in addition to better balls or whatever?)

It was fun for like 20 minutes though.

Side note: I didn't think to write down the exact score, but the best I managed to do was get all pink circles except for one.

Dezue responds:

Heyho, Pokefreak!

Thanks for playing and for the comment!
All pins upgraded to pink? Man, that's nice!

I agree with the 'do something while the balls fall' bit, already have some ideas for that.
Shaking the board like with a pinball table is a cool idea, I'll try to implement that as well.

As for the randomized board layouts, I'm not sure yet if this might be cool or if it could feel unfair. The next thing to implement are highscore boards, so I'd like to minimize the random factor (at least for this game), but I'll play around with randomness in the next installments of the series.

Thanks for your feedback, my man! Really appreciated!
Stay funky,
Dez

Pretty great so far, I have a few nitpicks though.

Levelling up the girls is kinda tedious, and that's mostly due to the pauses when you have to do the mind breaks, I would suggest making the mind breaks skippable if you've seen them before or if you would be able to do them in like 3 clicks, because as it stands they're just kinda annoying.

It can be a little difficult to tell how fast the spiral is going, maybe have an option to show its speed and such or just show more information in general?

More than one song would also help a lot, as the one you have is decent, but not when it's the only thing you listen to. Something like changing the music whenever you reach certain points in progession would be neat.

Lastly, this might be a bug/programming error, but when you try to upgrade from the profile page, the mind break boots you out of the profile page instead of just going back to it. IIRC it didn't do that the very first time? It'd be a little more consistent/convenient if you fixed that.

Otherwise, I love it so far! I especially appreciate the option to be female, since hardly any nsfw games actually do that nowadays.

HypnoChanger responds:

Thanks.

I have been trying to reduce the tediousness, without accidentally removing too much of the gameplay in the process. It's kind of a slow process to make sure I get the balance right.

It might be a bug if exiting the mindbreaks does not drop you off in the profile page of the character you mindbroke. I will try seeing if something went weird with that.

I might be able to commission more music tracks later on. I have had a few requests for that; I'll have to see when I can fit it in my budget.
